so DH has his company holiday party tonight...except spouses can't go since the company is so huge so i'm stuck home.. all i say is 'pppttthhhppp' to that!(that would be me sticking my tongue out going 'ppppphhhhttthhppp' lol)

they're having it at Justin Timberlakes restaurant/bar so it should be a good time! i actually had a nice day with family, but now i wish i would've made plans to go out tonight because i just wish i was there partyin' lol..in fact some of the girls that i'm friends with there actually told me to sneak in later lol but i said eehh i'll let the hubster have his fun - it's his night (but we'll see lol maybe i'll make an appearance lol) they're in manhattan & the party is only untill 10:30 - so he should actually be home at a decent time if he doesnt stay out after & party with the sleezies that i dont like

but bummer right? this is the first company party that he's had where the spouses couldn't go & he was kinda like 'i wish u could go - i just don't get why they don't make it an option..i would've paid for ur spot' so atleast i know he would like me there

oh well - time for 'Me time!' think i'm gonna run a bath & then watch a movie with some wine!

Thats just wrong. People who are married should be able to bring their wives. Is the restaurant open to the public while the party is going on because then you could randomly walk in like 'What a coincidence, this is where the party is?!!'

My work party is next week and I wasnt going to go if they didnt allow my hubby to come, Im a baby like that.

The bath and wine sounds just as good as the party to me!! I'm sure he can't wait to get home to you

i know. i hate that! all dh was telling me about was how his co-workers were telling him about all the hookups that the MARRIED doctors had last year..its kinda sad actually. but all the people that hookup that night cheat year round anyway so i guess it doesn't make a difference

i actually think the whole place is reserved just for them for the block of hours they set. the front bar area may be open to the public...but i know they have a whole private section that's just for the party...then it opens fully to the public at 10:30 i guess??? who knows...just wish i was there or out or had friends over & not just home! ..i thought family was going to stay a little longer but i guess i thought wrong

Mine was last night and spouses/guests weren't invited this year to ours either. I didn't feel like going if I had to take the LIRR home, and it didn't make sense to me if they offered to send me home with a car. To me that would kind of defeat the purpose of cutting costs, no? I'm really glad I didn't go because I've been sick anyway and it was so nasty out last night. When I heard the way it was pouring, I was so glad I stayed home.

It got really cold out there now!

well last night i had my office holiday party, i work in a law firm...and it the party had lots of outside ppl invite nassau/suffolk county judges...and the rumors flew....i was surprised at how many judges and lawyers are f*cking each other on the low ....

my husband was invited as well, and he came, he got a little late since the weather was sooo bad, since he met me there. As im waiting for him a DRUNK JUDGE comes up to me, and says hey sweety (he might have been 60-70 years old) and says what are u doing....i told him im going to call my husband i think hes lost... and he goes 'let him be lost, by the way if your looking for a new one, i did practice matrimonial law' ....

oh well hope u have one! make it a home nightt

but seriously gross that he was 70 but i can't help but laugh! and yea - it's crazy how many rumors fly...i'm sure by next week my hubby will have lots to tell... my uncle worked in a corporate building for years & would have stories EVERY christmas..

oh well - guess i've been lucky enough to be at the last few...
plus i've become friends with a lot of the people & they love me they'll be sure to keep the drunk sloppy hoes away (although dh usually does a good job at it himself )

Dh also went to a x-mas party, but i was out out running errands and running around for 3 hours then came home to iron his stuff, sew a button on his freaking sweater that he didnt end up wearing lol, cleaning up while he was getting ready, and he kept needing help with things. I am glad i am alone right now to breathe lmao. I forgot about dh's party tonight actually, when he said it today i was like OH YEAH thats right, oh well ill stay home lol.

theyre going to a restaurant in woodhaven, usually they do Howard beach but still close though. His Howard beach friends all the guys get together for their own x-mas dinner. I was supposed to drive him bc i dont allow him to drive but i got lucky and his friend called that he would pick him up. However, i will probably go pick him up.

I feel your pain!!!!!!!!!!! My dh's holiday party is next Friday and its the same thing...Just company employees..its such bs that you can't bring your wife for gods sake!
