For a BM dress I'll be wearing, I'll need a bra that's good for a low v-back. Can anyone recommend one?

Re: bra for low back dress
I can tell you that I DON'T recommend the Nubra - the one that is just cups. It does nothing at all if you need support. You might want to have it built into the dress if the back is lower than a regular longline bra.

If you go to VS they have a bra extender, it pulls the bra straps down and around the front of your stomach, Ive used it and it takes a little time to get used to it but it lets you wear a bra without worrying about strap issues

Re: bra for low back dress
lol not to be personal, but how big are your boobs??? i just bought on of those stick on backless silicone bras..
I bought a cheap one ($15.00! not even a brand name on the box lol) ..i was SO freakin' nervous about it..but my cousin assured me she's used them before and that they were great....well i just wore it to a party last weekend and i can honestly tell you it was the best thing in the world!!!! i swear u don't even feel it, it kept me up & a little cleavaged all night, and not ONCE did i feel it peeling..not to mention i danced the night away..i dont know how the thing worked but i loved it! I will say that the saleswoman told me that if u're a full C or bigger she doesn't reccomend them as highly...because obviously the bigger ur boobs, the more weight is distributed on it lol...i'm a full B..so it totally worked. can't wait to use it again! i've never bought lowback dresses or shirts to go dancing or anything 'cause i refuse to go without a bra, but now i can't wait to go shopping for some sexy night time wear!

Re: bra for low back dress
ps: for tighter dresses i just go to a seamstress & have them sew a bra right into the dress.... i literally found a bra with decent cups, and the lady cut off the back & just sewed the entire front of the bra into the gown!

Re: bra for low back dress
Is it strapless or halter? I have a halter bra (convertable) from VS that is great. However if it is strapless..you may need a long line bra.
Just as a PS - I wore a regular bra with my wedding dress and what a PITA. My wedding dress wasnt that low in the back at all and the seamstress velcroed my bra in...however it was a little uncomfortable and I felt like the bra was down too low and not holding me up. I guess I am making a stink because it was my wedding day but I still dont recommend this to anyone.

I had cups sewn into my wedding dress. It only cost about $20, which was a lot cheaper than buying a new bra.

I'm a B so I probably can use what you wore but I'm worried they may not stick all night, I guess I can buy one and try it out. I have heard of the VS bras too but I think the dress goes too low, I don't want to spend $50 or more on a VS bra.
For my wedding dress I had cups sewn in, I'm just not sure if it would work with the syle of the dress, it looks like it wraps tight around the chest area.
Luckily I have several months until the wedding so I have time to see what works best.
Thanks for your input girls!

Re: bra for low back dress
Go to one of those lingerie bra shops (the old ones) I got mine for $25 in Astoria. They had every bra imaginable.
