Breast Cancer Petion......please sign!!

As some of you know my mom had breast cancer at the age of 35. Thankfully she has been cancer free for the last 15 years. She also did not have to go through a mastectomy. My moms friend did, and it was not only traumatizing for her it was very painful. They send you home the same day, with tubes for drainage and instructions on how to care for it all. After seeing her go through that, I as a woman never want anyone of us to go through the same thing. We deserve 2 days in a hospital, it is a traumatizing procedure which can leave a woman feeling depressed and sad and in alot of pain. Doctors would like to see this also, but its the insurance companies that prevent it. SO please just take 2 seconds to sign this petition.

Here is the link:SIGN HERE PLEASE!!!!

Thanks ladies!!!

thanks for posting this. My mother had a double mastectomy, and it was not only horrible for her, but for us as well. She stayed in the hospital for a few nights at Sloan, but I can't imagine them pushing her out that same day. She really needed the extra care.

Your Welcome!! Iam so glad they kept her for 2 days. My moms friend wasnt so lucky, it was horrible for her. It depends on your insurance company. I hope this petition changes the law and makes it mandatory.
