Bridal showers

Where was your bridal shower? How many people did you have? Were you happy with the venue?

Desmond's at East Wind, LOVED it. We had about 40 people.

La Piazza in Merrick - we had about 40 women. The place was okay (there are no windows in the private room, which makes me feel claustrophobic). I kind of hoped it would have been at the Irish Coffee Pub or La Parma in Oceanside though.

Lady Mendls in the city. Formal tea in a beautiful brownstone. We had about 50 people and it was fabulous!!

I had 2 (DH's aunts gave me one in OH)

the first one was at his Aunt's house and there were about 25 people there.

the second was at Hunan Gourmet in Merrick with about 15 people.

Mine was at Ciao in Oceanside. We had about 80-90 guests. Everything was great.

The bad thing is that they are now closed.

Mine was at Cafe Bella in Valley Stream. We had about 60 people. I was really happy with everything.

one of my MOH's had it at her moms house. it was everything i could have wanted. just a personal thing for me--im so happy it was at a house and not a place. more personal. JMO

I had my shower in my parents backyard. It was
exactly what I wanted,. I think there was about 35 people. Afterwards we all went swimming in my parents pool. It was so much fun.

My bridal shower was at my Aunt's house with about 50 people....I loved it!!! It was exactly what I wanted and more than I ever expected!!!

I had mine at L'italiano Trattoria in Bayside - I wouldn't recommend.

Bourbon's in Bayside; there were about 30 women there and I was thrilled with everything! I wasn't even expecting a shower, my sister's completely surprised me (especially since my shower was two weeks before my wedding!)

Mine was in NJ at Terra Crista's in Matawan. It was a central location for both families.

We actually just had my sisters shower yesterday at Nick & Maggie's in NHP. Everything was great.
