Re: Brides who went to Hawaii

Hyatt in Kauai. Outstanding.
The one in Maui was nice too, but if I were going back again, I would research a bit more to see what else is out there.

Re: Brides who went to Hawaii

We stayed in the Aston Maui Hill it was nice, but we're not into hotels so we loved it (more like an apartment).

It seems like people really like the Grand Wailea if you can spare the expense...my brother goes there all the time.

We were in Maui 3 or 4 years ago, and loved our hotel! We stayed at the Four Seasons.

Re: Brides who went to Hawaii

We stayed at the Halekeni on Oahu - its rated the #1 place. It is outstanding - very beatiful. on Wakiki beach. eVerything is so close on Wakiki. The service is outstanding. its pricey but it was worth it.

On Maui we stayed at Four Seasons - loved it. Beautiful location, it has a spa. Service is excellent.
Cant say enough good things.

Good luck.Hint, we went online to look at the hotel pics to choose.
Other other choses were for Oahu, The Pink Palace. It is a little down the beach from Halekani.
And for Maui, we were looking at Sheraton.

Re: Brides who went to Hawaii

We stayed at the Pink Hotel (The Royal Hawaiian)- very highly recommended!!!! It's right on the beach and such a romantic hotel

As for Maui- we stayed at the Hyatt- Also highly recommended!!!!!!!- It's on Kaanapali beach and close to Lahaina & Whalers Village to walk around.

Re: Brides who went to Hawaii

The Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui is amazing. You won't want to leave. Every room is a suite. The staff bring you fresh pineapple slices and cold, mint scented towels to you as you lay by the pool. I wanted to move in.

Re: Brides who went to Hawaii

Oahu we stayed at the Sheraton, its nice right in Waikiki on the beach and on the main road with shops and restaurants.
However it was nothing spectacular (although they did give us a bottle of champagne free, for being on our honeymoon)
Maui we stayed at the Renissance in Wailea and it was wonderful! My DH is already saying that we are going back and staying there again!
The service was great, every room has a terrace, its right on the beach, has a beautiful 24hour pool and spa, good restaurants, beautiful grounds.....We were really happy with this hotel!

Re: Brides who went to Hawaii

I forgot, a little advice, go to Oahu FIRST! If you go to Maui and hten Oahu, you will most likely be disappointed! Oahu is very city and urban. Not what I pictured Hawaii to be. Maui to me was the postcard of Hawaii!

Same here. It was fine but I didn't love it.

In Maui we stayed at the Hyatt and loved it! Somewhere on here is a review I wrote of our honeymoon. It's long & very detailed. It might be helpfiul.

Re: Brides who went to Hawaii

Oahu - Royal Hawaiian

Maui - Hyatt Regency for 3 nights then at the Fairmont Kea Lani for 3 nights

Big Island - Hilton Waikola Village

Kauai - Hyatt Regency

I loved all the hotels I stayed in. My favorite was the Hyatt Regency in Maui!!!!!

Try doing a search, there have been a lot of posts about Hawaii lately.
