Ohh, I didn't know it was on. I would like to have watched it. I feel for her...I hope she continues to do well, especially for the sake of her children. I don't doubt that her breakdown was due to Federline running around on her and using her for his own benefit. I strongly believe he was her ruination...ever getting involved with him was her biggest mistake. I also think she is probably bi-polar, and very likely also suffered from PPD afer her pregnancies. I'm sure MTV will keep showing it.
She admitted in the documentary that he left her and that all of a sudden he was just doing what he wanted; his album, his trips, etc.

I truly believe that...I think it was pretty evident from what you would see on TV and in magazines. I'm sure someone in her life must have tried to talk sense into her and make her see that he was using her. And, she probably wanted to believe he really loved her and wasn't using her...imagine how horrible she must have felt... I swear I always said she was going to have a breakdown. This girl has worked non-stop since she started...back to back albums and concerts and then to end up with him. It's really sad.

I watched it. I love her but I feel so bad for her. She was so quiet during the interview and barely said 2 words. She was very fidgity. It seems like she on the road to getting better but it looks like she is not completely there yet. Maybe because she just started performing and doing interviews again she is still nervous.
I hope she gets her kids and life back. She is awesome

i was VERY disappointed in it... they did not cover a couple topics i thought they were going to... the only 'crazy stunt' they talked about was when she shaved her head... what about the time she locked herself in her bathroom & refused to give up her kids?? she didnt talk about being diagnosed with bi polar either
i felt lke most of it was to promote her new album and perfumes
I think some things are just too private and not something she wants to talk about with the public. I can understand that, I know there are times we all go through things and some things are too private to just share with the world. Plus with her being followed all the time and having the media document her every step, i think she wants some sort of privacy and some things that not everyone in the world knows about.
That whole thing with her locking herself in the bathroom was a pretty serious moment in her life, so she probably is not ready to discuss that so openly.
I do feel bad for her and hopefully she is getting better.

i understand that... but if you read the begining of the documentary, it was like 'THERE WERE NO TOPICS OFF LIMITS' so i was really excited b/c i thought she was going to talk about that
so there obviously WERE topics off limits!!! ugg i'm just very upset over the whole thing - i was SOOOO excited for it, and it was NOTHING like i thought it was going to be

yeah i hate when they do those things, they do it to get ratings but seems like now that she is back with her old manager, he is going to have a tight hold on her again and watching how the media portrays her. He did a good job of it in the past and now that he is back working for her, he will do his best to get her image back.

I actually feel guilty that I have absolutely no pity for her. None, at, all.
People have gone through worse. Cry me a river, pull yourself together and move on. There are many people who THRIVE in the spotlight and those that cannot handle it. If you can't handle it - MOVE ON.
Sorry, I know I am in the minority and I TRY to feel for her but I just can't.

LOL its ok Tilde, its normal. I didnt feel for her at all either for the longest time. I felt no matter what you are going through yourself, it doesnt justify what you are doing to those kids, you put them first no matter what tragic stuff you are dealing with. I saw her biography and started feeling bad for her with some stuff. But I still feel that the kids weren't put first during that whole time and there was no excuse for that.
I do feel others took advantage of her, and I do think she has other serious issues that she needs to see a professional about.

You are not alone. As soon as i watched parts of it i thought - cry me a river . Then I wondered why I wasted anytime on her being that I don't love britney . not even a little bit.

You're welcome. Yeah I only saw a little bit towards the end, so I may watch it too thats only if theres nothing else on. Madonna freaked me out on the show though, she looked so weird, her last plastic surgery operation didnt go too well.

yeah and the other thing that really pissed me off was when she was like 'i'm doing this to end the rumors about me' if she really wanted to do that, she should have spoke about more than just shaving her head!!
i dont know, i think im just bitter about the whole thing... it really was just one big promotion of her perfume and new album... i thought they spent WAYYY too much time showing her going from place to place, recording songs etc.. like yeah we get it, shes 'making a come back' but most of america watched it to hear her explain herself, not to see the 'behind the scenes' from her album

I watched. I just feel kind of sorry for her. I think she's a girl who has really been through alot (Im sure plenty of ppl have taken advantage of her and its not always easy being in the public eye) and has (or had) some serious problems. I like to hear her sounding like she is functioning better now. Thank God for her family stepping in.

ITA!!!
Don't feel guilty... I don't feel bad for her either... There are far too many people out there with real problems that are all too unfortunate... I do feel pity for her kids though!! They're the innocent ones trapped in the mess their parents created and will forever be pegged for it....
