How many do you have and do you get along with them?

I have a brother in law and 2 sisters in law. Our families are very different but I think we get along. It gets annoying when he and his brother start quoting entire movies to one another.

DH has two brothers who are both married , and my brother is married .. so I have a total of 3 SILs and 2 BILs

Both of DH's brothers are cool. I get along great with my brother's wife (she was my matron of honor) and Anthony's youngest brother's wife (she was my bridesmaid). My other SIL is so-so .. I don't see her much since she and my BIL lives in Michigan

2 brothers in law -

One is okay, he is kind of aloof and very busy with his work, so I really don't speak to him too much. And his wife (my SIL) I just feel like we have nothing in common.

The other BIL is estranged from the family, I have never even met him.

My SIL (DH's sister) I see all the time, and we get along decently - but I can only take her in small doses if that makes sense!

Sometimes it makes me sad because I always thought I would have BILs and SILs that I would be best buddies with. It's just not there with them.

DH has an older sister. We did not get along for a long time but now we are just civil with each other for my ILs and DH sake.

DH has a sister who lives in FL and a Brother who is married with 2 kids here on LI. I love them all and get along fine. I really feel I lucked into a terrific family.

I have 7!!!
I get along VERY well with all of them except my DH's brother and wife...

But that isn't an issue with me per say...THEY have an issue with everyone in the family so there is little contact with them.

But as far as my other BIL's
they are fabulous people..
and my sister SIL (8 years old...child from a 2nd marriage)...wonderful LOVE HER TO DEATH

I have a BIL - we get along pretty well.

DH is the youngest of 5, his sister passed away about a year ago and he has three brothers - all married. One was our best man & his wife was my MOH. My brother is also married.

So let's see ... I have four BIL's and four SIL's.

I have 1 SIL and 1 BIL. I love them both. Sorry to say but most of the time more then my own sibling

DH has one brother and one sister. They both live out of state, which is good. They are nice people but even DH gets aggravated with them for certain reasons.

I have two brothers and they are both married. I get along well with both of those SILs.

I have two BIL's who i love and get along with great... I also have a SIL (brothers wife) who i cant stomach...she truly nausiates me.. ugh...

DH has one brother an done sister. I love them both to death..we don't get to see his brother very much because he is an undercover agent for the federal government.
His sister lives up in NJ and we try to get together whenever we can.

Mike is the baby. He is 25 he has a brother who is 36 a sister who is 35. We don't speak to his Brother (unless we have to) He called me a fat F*cking hipo (and then his mom cried cause Mike didn't ask him to be the best man ) But I talk to his sister everyday. We are like sisters. I love her. And she has 4 beautiful kids her only son is my GodSon. The whole family just moved to Florida. So we don't see them that often.

I just realized I never went into my brothers wife. Im sure you all remember what that b!tch did to my brother. I don't like her she is a liar.

I think I misinterpreted the question a little bit. I thought you meant how many you got through your marriage with you DH, but obviously you meant how many brother and sister in-laws you have TOTAL. In which case, I have the BIL and SIL I mentioned in the previous post and another SIL (nov04libride)! Sorry Beth, don't want you to think I forgot about you! Beth really is like a sister to me.

My DH is also an only child - but my sister ended up marrying his best friend, so after knowing him as a friend for almost seven years, now he's my BIL and I love him to pieces He is the sweetest guy and adores my sister even though she's super bossy!

I have two sisters, so DH went from being an only child to having two crazy SILs

DH has one sister. We don't talk to her. She is a little nuts and likes to blame other people for her horrible life. I think she is engaged now.

My sister's FH is great. He is such a nice guy and puts up with my sister. So I am looking forward to him becoming my BIL.

Same with me. I have two SIL, one lives in New Mexico (as does my MIL) and the other in New Jersey (originally from NM). I get along with them in small doses, but they find me to be pushy and opinionated. I'm too much of a NYer for them.
