brown and black question

I was thinking of chocolate brown BM dresses.... but I'm concerned about how they will look in the pictures with black tuxedos.

Has anyone had / seen this combo - honest answers would be greatly appreciated...

my friend did it, it looks great....she did black tuxes with a sand color vest that complimented the brown quite nicely!

I just had chocolate dresses with black tuxes and it looked totally fine. I don't have any group shots yet. I had the same concerns though.

Hi!

I did brown and black. Thought at first it wouldn't look right. But, it looked fine. The guys wore champagne vests and ties.

I would think it would look okay if you accent the BM's with something black. Maybe if the dress has a ribbon around the waist, it could be black or maybe black jewelry.

We just went to a wedding this weekend where the GM wore a dark brown (almost coppery) and the BM's wore a milk chocolate brown and I though it looked great. The guys complained about it looking 'like doodie', but the pics came out very nice. Here are few that we took (amateur pics)

and the last...wish I could get them bigger, but the LIW resizer sent them back to me at 2kb size, and mine will only make them this big at 55 kb. Sorry......if you want bigger pics to see, I can email them to you. Just FM me.

we did this. personally i love brown and black together, but not all people do...

we had the guys wear champagne colored vests and my girls were in chocolate.

here are a few pics to illustrate the color combo- i don't like the bridal party photo, but it gives you an idea as to what it could potentially look like.
