budgets

we're trying to figure out our monthly budget for saving up for a house..... how did you ladies figure yours out?

anyone have examples?

I am getting ready to leave work, but I am an accountant if you send me an FM tommorrow I can help you create one or send you a template so all you have to do is plug in numbers that would apply yo you and your DH.



ETA: Simple way is
Amount you want to save DIVIDED by # of month you want to save it in.

Ex : 20,000/24=833.33 a month for 2 years.
Then you can take this number and divide it weekly or biweekly whatever works for you.
