Burton's for Gowns?

Hi girls. Well we found the lowest price for the dress that Karen wants at Burtons. It was cheaper on the internet but I think she feels safer goign the brink and morter way.

So, does anyone have any experience, good/bad with this company?

Please give me your advice.

Thank you soooo much.

Denise

P.S. She needs to order soon so this is kind of urgent.

I used them for my dress and had no problems.

The seamstress even added sleeves for me!!

Maybe you can do a search on here. I know I've seen a few girls post that they got their dresses there.

Re: Burton's for Gowns?

I got my dress there and saved a ton of money. I also was a bit weary of buying a dress on the internet so I went with Burtons. I was very happy with them but had some major problems with the alterations. At my second fitting they decided to do another hem and insisted that when I picked up the dress, it was not necessary to try it on (b/c it was pressed, etc.). So, one hour before my ceremony, I put the dress on and them hem is completely screwed up. They had pressed the second hem up but had not sewn it so it looked like it was hanging down and crooked. I have never heard of anyone else who has had this problem with them so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I would still say Burtons was worth it but just be careful with the alterations (make sure she tries it on!) -
