Busy weekend!

Hey girls!

Well I had a whirlwind busy weekend!

I flew in to NY on Friday evening. Got my mani, pedi, haircut, waxing and then straight out to Uncle Jack's in Bayside (best steak place ever) with my fam.

Saturday was Jennielovesbryan's BRIDAL SHOWER! What great surprise! I was so sad that I couldn't ask any questions on here or talk about it at all because we really wanted to keep it a surprise! It was SO great and wow, what an amazing family she has! There are many 2 things left on her 3 registries! It was such a great day and I'm so glad that I was able to come back to NY for it!!!

I got to see my dad and FIL for father's day on Sunday which was fantastic... and then left in the afternoon to head back (Still trying to forget about the horrific airport experience! Flight was delayed 2 hours, then spent 2 more hours on the runway waiting to takeoff! Plus the flight was SO turbulent that I had to keep my air sickness bag right on my lap just in case!)

Anyway, I had such a wonderful weekend! And then when I landed in NY I got a message saying that my BIL proposed to his girlfriend! I am so unbelievably excited for them... she is the BEST possible person I could look for as a FSIL! They've been dating a while and we knew it was coming but what a great day! I haven't gotten the details yet about the proposal since it was super late in NY when I got back home...

That is wonderful news and btw - I Heart Uncle Jack's Steakhouse. I eat the seafood though. They make the best Martini's in the WORLD !

What a fun filled weekend! Ours was not enarly as exciting. You need to visit again soon -afetr I get my lisence lol and can meet you halfway.

YAY Haaaayley, what an action packed weekend!!! Too bad you weren't here long enough for any of us to see you though!!!!!

I'm sure the shower was GREAT, and I bet your family was so happy to have you in town for Father's Day, that was REALLY well-planned!!!

OK well next time you're around , Cat will have her pool ready, and her DH does a MEAN BBQ from what I understand...

HAHAHAHAAA NONE of that is true, I just like to start the stuff on an otherwise boring Monday....

Wow Hayley. you really live the jet setter lifestyle. You did more in one weekend than I do in a month. The shower looked like a lot of fun. I LOVE her dishes!!

Actually this is all true . Only a few ducks have been in our pool so far though Bobby wanted to BBQ them.

OMG this would be SOOOOO FUN, start the FM train!!!!! Cat, I'll bring DH and he and Bobby can validate themselves all day ('I went to the store, so i did...')

This is so true, so it is. They will also play the let's name as many Irish people famous or otherwise that we can think of and see if the other person knows them or knows of them. When we run out of people we will start talking about stores and petrol stations that we have both been in at some point in our life while we stopped to fill up on our way to Kerry.......this game can go on for hours, so it can.

We will seriously have to set something up
