Buyers Remorse? Do you get it?

Ok, so I went shopping yesterday. I bought some clothes, and some scrapbooking stuff. When I got home I realized I spent $100. Now I know that isn't a lot.. However last night I am thinking do I *need* this stuff, and I can use that $100 on some thing bigger.. such as-


So my question is- do you get buyers remorse and bring items back?

I tend not to get buyers remorse too often BUT looking at that purse I am in love.

I talk myself out of buying things in the store usually so I don't get buyer's remorse too often. But lately it's more like 'drinkers remorse' - just as, we shouldn't have gone out and spent $50 on food and drinks on a wednesday .... happens to me a lot lately

Yes. The thing with me is, I am saying to myself as I'm in line that I will be returning it! lol

I was leaving the parking lot and thinking that this is silly..I dont really want/need this item. LOL I feel silly today, now I have to go back and return these things!

Yes, and always have, although it hasn't always stopped me from spending money. Actually, I have a sweater still sitting in a shopping bag at home that I've been meaning to return.

That bag is cheap for Coach, get it and don't feel bad at all! Tell DH it's a great price for Coach because it is lol

i get it all the time right when i get home from shopping....but then once I use the product or put on the new pair of shoes i'm over it

Oh DH wouldnt have any problems with me buying it. He is not like that at all. This from my own money, not our shared banking.

I get buyers remorse all the time -- especially if I buy something pricey. Although, I never seem to return anything so I can't feel THAT bad.

That usually helps. I've gotten less impulsive too. I'm a little more selective, so if I've made a good choice I don't feel as bad knowing it was worth it!

It depends, big ticket items are usually thought out really well before I actually get to the register so I never really get buyers remorse because I have spent time doing circles around the store convincing myself or DH!!
Usually, we end up with tons of things we WANT at first sight in the cart and by the time we get to the register its things we really NEED that only left!

Yes - I recently got buyers remore on a $70 plaid skirt and returned it. It was from Express and I decided Id rather wait till it went on sale. Plus i knew I'd probably only wear it twice this season.

Also when I buy something I ask myself this 'will I be able to go through life without this item' - Ha ha. Like is it a once in a lifetime opportunity or is it a deal that I will never find again. Ok well I dont do this always but I try and do it when I watching my spending. Also I then keep tag on all my new clothes and if a month goes by and I havent worn the new shirt yet, I take it back! OK I guess I am weird but that is how I operate!
