That's insane!!! I'm so sorry you guys! I watch HGTV nonstop now (we have Time Warner down here so I guess we'll still have them).

When TW didn't carry the Mets games, I went crazy, became quite the bar-frequenter, and gained a ton of weight. F*n TW... I'd be miserable without FN & HGTV

Re: CABLEVISION TO CANCEL FOOD NETWORK AS OF MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and DH are SO FLIPPING ANGRY right now. We literally just got the iO Triple Play as of the day before the wedding, and the only reason why we got it is because both our families used iO and we were familiar with the channel set-up and iO has the Isles games in HD, whereas Fios doesn't, and my sister has the Fios version of the Triple Play and hates it.

We're most likely going to cancel now and go to Fios. We don't watch much TV, but seriously the only channels we watch are Food, HGTV, Travel, Create, MSG+, and I watch Desperate Housewives on ABC. That's it. Take away 2 of those channels and what's the point???

Re: CABLEVISION TO CANCEL FOOD NETWORK AS OF MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have TW, but we also live upstate - so does this affect TW as well? does anyone know? I hate to admit though I dont really watch either of these networks but I dont feel its necessary to hurt such a popular demand for people that do.

Re: CABLEVISION TO CANCEL FOOD NETWORK AS OF MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is why DH and I are going BACK to Fios once we finally have our house! Patchogue doesn't have Fios (or at least our apt. complex doesn't), and believe me, there's a tremendous difference.

I think if we all speak with our purses and make a massive switch over to Fios, Cablevision and Scripps Networks (the owners of Food Network and HGTV) will respond.
