Can anyone help with Ideas for DH's 40th Bday??

So DH is turning 40 this November and I would like to do something really special for him....any ideas?? Maybe you awesome ladies can ask your DH's what they think would be really fun or what they would like if they were him??

The last couple of years, DH has been sick and been through alot and i'd like to make this very memorable for him. I'm torn between a party or taking him to Vegas or a Cruise...or getting a motorcycle but I don't know what he wants.....

true! He's just been talking about rebuilding a bike...but u know what...he can get that for himself.....

VEGAS!!!!!!!

I threw the DH a party for his 40th. It was tons of funn but a lot of work and quite costly

If I had my way , we would have been away. He loved the party but at the end he admitted to me that all the money spent he would have preferred a vacation in retrospect.

Why not book a trip for the near future instead of going away right away if it that your concerned about
Do a dinner night out liker the city or somewhere special and than surprise him with the potential print outs of different vacation destintations that you can do together

My DH's 30th is coming up in a few months. One of my best friends was planning her bf's 30th birthday not long ago so i thought it would be a good opportunity to see what dh would like so i asked him what my friend should do, throw a big party or take him on a trip. Dh said if it were him he'd prefer a trip and would want to go to vegas. So since he didnt want a big party, which i wanted to do a surprise party, i decided to just talk to him about his b'day and his ideas. He really wants us to go to vegas, so looks like thats what we might do. Although recently he said maybe go to LA also bc he wants to get a tattoo at LA ink , i already got him a tattoo last year at miami ink and these ppl just overcharge, even for small tattoo;s they start off expensive, if its worth $500 then fine but not for something that you know everwhere else is $300 or under.

So trying to do the vegas thing for his birthday. I dont know why i even asked bc i knew he was going to want vegas.

Does your Dh really want to go to vegas or on a cruise? has he talked about doing either things more recently?

Well when Dh turned 30, we rented a pent house and had all his friends come down to AC. DH loved to gamble and it was sooo nice to see his friends who made the trip.
