Even though my wedding is not until next June I would like to find a makeup artist now while I have some color. What do they cost and do they come to you?
I used Pamela, who works for Clinique. She came to my house, and charged $75. My makeup was 'special', but still natural looking, and lasted all day. I definitely recommend her! : )
I used Jackie from Imakeupyou. She charged I think $30 for the trial (its getting harder and harder to remember the details!) and I think $175 or something for the day...she came to the house on time, finished me, my MOH, and 2 BMs in no time, and I was incredibly pleased. My makeup lasted all day - ony needed to touch up lipstick once!! Worth every penny - her # should be on the vendor listings...
I used Janet Bari and she came to me. I think the trial was $30 and the day of the wedding was $100 for me and $75 everyone else. She charged me $50 for my 16 year old niece. The prices went down if you had more people (I had me, my MOH, my mother & my niece)
The make up stayed on all day and looked great in person and in the pics. No overdone at all but much different than everyday make up. Her website it http://www.jbari.com
