to stop slamming the damn stapler!!! she refuses to pick the damn thing up and use it like a human, so she shoves the paper under then slams her hand down, so the thing jumps up and down on the desk and makes this horrible sound! So freakin annoying.
SO can i ask her to please use the stapler like normal? the noise is completly getting to me and we work in very close quarters. shes stapling like every 3 mins now!

omg that's on my pet peeve list. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII have someone a few offices down clearing out an office and boxing things up. So that crazy packaging tape noise is going all afternoon like this:

Heather I don't think it's out of line at all as long as you ask nicely. She may not realize it's bugging you. If she keeps doing it after you ask nicely, though, then you have permission to fling rubber bands at her head for the rest of the day.

You could even scare the hell out of her, just SCREAM OWWWWWWWWWW really loudly and put your hand over your eye, and say a staple just hit you in the eye. If you rub your eye a bit it'll get red and support the ruse. THEN you can say,
Wow that was scary, can you just do that just a teeny bit more gently?
