I need the link to social security in Nassau. I have to go there to change my name and want to know their hours. Im googleing, but i cant find what I need. If anyone knows where i should be looking- that would be very helpful! TIA!!

just thought of this- Im not sure where my social security card is. Can I change my name and get a new one? I know have it somewhere, but since we moved I haev no clue where to begin looking for it.
I think this is the one that does card administration. Queens girl here. I had to go to Jamaica.
Good luck finding your card. Not sure if you need it, or can use something else like a paystub to prove the number.

I didn't need the actual card, actually I think I just gave them the form with all the info on it, I brought my passport I think but I can't quite remember...and marriage certificate of course...

you can google social security administration and it will give you alist of every place near you
You need your marriage cert and your DL-also on the site is what you need and is required

I went to the one in Long Beach to change my name. You are in LB right?
They open 9:00 to 4:00 when I went back in October I Was there in the morning ann was out pretty quickly, but I had my original S.S card, so I do not know if that would be an issue.
The LB office is located at the Waldbaums shopping center
