Can we have a question of the day for the Newlyweds? 9/30/2002?
I am truly losing my zest for wedding planning. The same questions keep coming up, not that I do not want to help the ladies on the bride boards, but I am bored with wedding planning. To spice up the Newlywed side of the board. I suggest we have a question of the day discussion, it could be financial, movie, sex, marriage, children, something in the news etc.
Let me know what you ladies think???

Last night hubby and I was discussing whether or not Sex lessens when 2 people marry. He said it can happen if you let it, and I will have to agree. I think like with anything in life it can happen, you have to keep the spark and the excitement.
I am waiting to hear from the rest of the newlyweds

Shamma that is a wonderful idea. This side of the board is getting a little boring.
As to sex after marrige, it can defintely happen. You just have to find new and different way to keep the sparks flying.

I think Question of the Day is a GREAT idea!
As for the sex after marriage thing... I have to admit it becomes less of a priority, but you have to keep the fires burning...

I agree Shamma, I have lost some interest. I used to log on everyday, all day. Now I get on here once every couple of days. But I still make it back to make sure everything is under control

As for the question, I agree with the others, Although it is up to the couple to maintain whatever relatioship they expect. The couple in truly responsible for what happens to a marriage. I think that when couple truly lose interst in sex, there is usually something else troubling the relationship and the sex may be like the last straw.

i love the idea of a daily question/poll.... i am so tired of wedding planning.. i try to help out a little now too, but honestly, i was done with it about 2 weeks before the wedding.. now i am just happy being happily married!!!
as far as sex life.. your relationship is what you make it.. i agree with the others totally.. its get easy to just take for granted that you have each other.. you kinda have to keep remembering how happy you are to be together, otherwise one day just blurs into another!!!
