So a 'friend' of ours that is an aspiring photographer took pics literally directly behind my photographer. She took over 800 pictures. She posted them all over her site, and created a myspace page and put our picture as the main picture and put all our pictures on it. The catch is she put her watermark all over the pictures so no one could save them. The thing you can do is purchase them on her site. I have been trying to contact her and have spoken to her over the computer and she seems to be avoiding me so she doesnt give me the cd of the pics. Am I overreacting? (she isnt a close friend my dh works with her husband)

Strange...she really cant claim them to be hers if she took them over your photographers shoulder..so in essence she is isnt a good photographer.
I would keep trying to get in touch with her, have DH talk to her husband. I dont think you are over reacting, she could have given you some of the pictures. You can tell her that she cant use your image for commercial without your consent and see what happens

Wow, I would be really upset, she had no right to post those pictures of your wedding on myspace or any other website without your permission to do so first off. Also, why wouldnt she give you the photos on a disc, does she want money for them, if so, thats just nuts, she sounds a bit off, I would have DH talk to her or her husband and see what the heck is going on, sorry about all of this, but just hang in there, it will all work out.....
