Rumor has it that theres a new law that if a biopsy comes up suspicious or cancerous the lab has to alert the patient in a certain amount of time.
Does anyone know if its true or where I can look for an answer? Google isnt much of a help

i dont know about a law, but DH has cancer and they did a cat scan and the doctor called him that day a while after his test to tell him they found something they didnt like and wanted him to come in right away.

sounds like a right to know law. probably state level, and my guess would be that it started in the assembly. i mean, a law is a law, so both houses would have had to pass it, but my guess is state. though i suppose that counties could pass something like that on their own.
