hi gals- on the parenting forum, I think it was anna that posted this...that they used candy bars with personalised wrappers as a faovr.
DOes anyone know where I can get the program to make the wrapper myself?
Did anyone use candy bars as a favor and where did you get them made up?
I was thinking of using them as a Christening favor...
Any suggestions ?

You dont need a program to make them. Just buy a hersey bar and measure the wrapper; then set up MS Word to the size of the wrapper and design something to fit.

Don't need to use special paper? I thought the paper used is a bit glossier than our usual stuff we use

Just use glossy paper which you can buy at any office supply store or even Costco. And then cut to size.
Ive seen it done with Matte paper too..it depends on the design you want.

I did a template in MS Publisher and I just use that as my template when I make favors for different events. It's pretty easy. Then just use a glue stick to attach the wraper ends around the hershey bar. You can use any paper you want.

duh! I guess I'm a bit thick headed
okay makes sense. Will scout around to find an example of the wrapper and then change it to what we need.
I have a little lead time so I can also see what candy will be on clearance once valentines day is past...
