I've been away from the boards as of late because sadly, my husband's mother passed away last Tuesday. She had been battling lymphoma for the better part of 2 years, and while we were on vacation over Christmas break she took a quick turn for the worse. She was 70 years old, a true lady in every sense of the definition. It has been very difficult for Marc and myself as well as the whole family, but it is a comfort to know that she is at rest and will suffer no longer. It was one of her big goals to be at our wedding. I wish I could thank her for fighting so hard just to be there for our special day. It breaks my heart to look at the photos of her with the family.
I will miss her dearly, and am remiss that our future children will never have the chance to know their amazing grandmother personally.
If I could ask that you keep us in your prayers, I would be so grateful.

Cathleen - I had already posted on FB - but I didnt know the underlying circumstances. I am so so sorry honey. Maybe it was a good thing you got married when you did - I believe that it gave your MIL the strength to survive & fight as long as she did. Love & prayers for you guys....
