How much does you pay for your car insurance? I nearly had a stroke when I got my bill in the mail over the weekend.......

we have 3 car
a 2007 honda crv ( full coverage) a 2001 chevy s10 and ( full coverage) a 1987 honda accord
we pay $185.00 a month

I'm not sure how much we pay DH usually pays this but we use Esurance and I know its really cheap!!

I have a 2006 toyota Avalon and Allstate is charging almost $900 for 6 months....I just think that is kinda high......

prices will depend on town you are in - - Hempstead I think is more $$$ than Oyster Bay.
also on amount of liability coverage you take - - $100,000 , $300,000, $500,000.
and also on age of car. - - if you have collision insurance the amount is highest when it is newer and amount car is covered for decreases with age since if totaled, they will pay less cause it's worth less. less coverage will be cheaper.
so you need to know these things when you want to compare costs of policies.

I used to have Allstate and saved so much money when I switched I know alot of people say they are good but they were very expensive for me.

I pay 250 a month using Geico. I had some points taken off my license a few years back and unfortunately it still affected how much I pay. They said if I keep my record clean for 6 months they'll lower it. I have two months left ::knocking on wood::
