Car Issues!

My car is old, she's a 98 and it is has been called the Yankee Mobile!..lol I'm not ready to give her up yet.

Lately my car has been squeaking but it only makes the sound when I apply the gas..it's really embaressing when I pull away from my job or my block! It's at the mechanic getting looked at..I am hoping the belts just need to be tightened!!

Anyone ever have this problem with their car/truck? Any idea what it can be! I am hoping for good news!!

Whenever I make a right or left turn my car squeaks and my mechanic said it was the belts that needed tightening.

I was thinking that...the tech that drove me back to my office said he couldn't hear it..I was yelling at him saying hit the gas you don't hear that? He didn't! And I'm deaf in one ear and I heard it! I just hope someone over there hears it..I am gonna be very upset if it's still making that noise!!! GRRRR!!!!
