Carlye Brides - advice on centerpieces?

did anyone do low ones in this room? Am I silly to think i could get away with that with only 12-14 tables? I would do high candles also...... I need advice on how to fill this large space with not so many people. Can anyone help?

what did you guys do?

I did low centerpieces..

I had 16 tables.. which really doesn't take up so much space compared to 14 tables.

I had a VERY big band (12 pieces) so that took up the far wall...

I don't think high centerpieces will fill the space- you'll be fine- the room is so beautiful

They were in these silver champagne like buckets- but shiny- almost like oversized mint-julep cups.

I had ivory, pale pink, and light purple roses with stargazer lilies, raspberry heather and ivy that trailed down. I also had votives in assorted vintage brandy and dessert cups.

I used the ivory napkins with ivory table cloths.

I did low cps, but half with pillar candles around them (the other 1/2 with votives) - we had 26 tables.

thank you so much! I felt like such a dork but I went to the Carlyle last night (yet again) and sat in the ballroom by myself staring at the tables from different areas of the room. They definately think I am nutty over there. Just wait till the day of my wedding... hahahaha!
