Cars- Anyone have a Jeep

Commander
OR
Cherokee

If you do, do you love it?
Any complaints?
I think I am leaning towards one of the 2.
Im torn....I like them both.

I have a Liberty, which I love. I think it comes down to size and what you feel most comfortable in. Have you test driven them both?

I had a Liberty and HATED that car...it had problems with it (and i had bought it brand new)...and they charged crazy 'routine maintenance' prices for the big services......not trying to bash anyone's car but that was my experience...so glad to be rid of it...

My MIL had the Grand Cherokee a few years ago and she had little complaints. One issue she had was it was constantly telling her her tires were low when they weren't. It ended up being a program issue and it was eventually fixed. I found it to be a very nice SUV though.

I have a Liberty and LOVE IT!!! Best car ever.

I agree with Cindy - it all comes down to size and GAS! I think I would choose the Cherokee over the commander..

I have the Jeep Cherokee (an older one....its a 97). I love it. Seriously, its the most reliable car EVER. Their transmissions never go -- you can run these trucks into the ground. The engine is very sound. Mine has 122K miles on it and has NEVER needed to go into the shop for a repair.

My dad has a Jeep Grand Cherokee and hasnt had any major problems. The only complaint is what a PP said....the car keeps telling him his tires are low on air when they really arent. Its kind of annoying because this stupid computerized thing above the console will blink and beep. But other than that, its a great car and rides really well.
