Cassarino Brides

I posted this on the Brides helping Brides forum too.

Did anyone use Mickey from Cassarino? What was your experience?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Cassarino Brides

Our original photographer Rob A. from Cassarino Studios got sick with the flu and ended up in the hospital. A few days before our wedding we did get a replacement from the studio who is Mickey. He is the son-in-law of the founder of Cassarino Studios. I personally wish I could meet with him before and discuss the list of 'must take' photos and what kinds of pictures we want and be prepared. He is a good photographer although some of our pictures were off-centered but that was a handful out of the 100+. Overall, he did do a good job. He doesn't really have much of a personality at all but professionally he did do a good job. We were happy with our pictures. I do wonder what our pictures would be if our photographer was Rob A. We're still awaiting for our albums, enlargements and loose prints as we only have the proofs (9-10 months from the date of payment received for the remaining balance). Our wedding was August 2002 and we'd paid them in October 2002 thus we're expecting them in August 2003.

Just a tip: Read all the fine and small print of your contract and know what to expect from them and what the studio expects from you (e.g. wedding invitation on the wedding day ready, 'must take photo list' etc.) Photos of all tables is $200.00 each plus sales tax and gratuity.

Re: Cassarino Brides

I personally didn't have Mickey, I had George S. But my MOH had Joe Cassarino and Mickey. Joe only stayed until the cocktail hour and then Mickey took over for him. Her pictures came out really nice, and he was very nice to deal with!
