Cassarino Brides, question:

How long did it take you to get your proofs? I know the contract says that 30 days, my wedding was on May 30th ... I gues I am just too anxious of looking at my pictures

Where have you been! I've been screaming about this!

I got married the day after you, and my proofs arrived yesterday. Call them, they just got an order yesterday and they take their sweet time going through the packages and dividing them up. Make them check for you, they are probably there!

My proofs took over a month. I was really annoyed they said they were backed up b/c I got married around the holidays.

I guess I was lucky, mine was ready in 2 1/2 weeks. I got married same day as Mistyeyed.

yeap you were lucky Liz! if you check the contract and the little bulleting they send you it says 30 days, and if in the holidays up to 60 But I knew it, so it did not get me by surprise. I will call today to see if mine are there

Well we got our proofs about 5 weeks after our wedding. We ordered our albums back in October 2002 and our wedding was August 2002 and still NO albums or enlargements yet. Patience is a virture. You pick up your all your albums and enlargements that comes in your package all at the same time after the final balance has been paid in full. We paid the final balance in October 2002 and thus 60 photos in our main album takes 9-10 months for pick-up, thus it should be ready by July 2003 or August 2003. Your final balance contract is based on the number of photos in your main album which determines the length of time to get the finished product. Also any special features in your album is extra and contributes to the length of time to get your albums.

Cassarino doesn't want you to pic up any albums or loose enlargments one at a time to prevent any confusion, thus they want to pic it up all at once. Soon ours should be ready... hey getting married in May 2003 and no proofs? You should call them. Not having your proofs waiting this long is absurd as waiting for your albums is a different story.

I picked up my enlargements before I got my album. Plus...if you check their web site...there is an extra package that lets you get extra enlargements...they're very sneaky...My album is said to come in 2 weeks. My silly photographer didn't use a flash in certain pics so when they tried to fix it, the pic became all fuzzy and dotted. They had to consult me before they put that stinky photo in my album, yeah...like I'd want that! You live and you learn. At least they took off the 50 dollar balance that I had to pay for a 'special effect' page.

Well, I have to say that although it took 33 days to get my proofs, I am very pleased with the work. It has been very hard to chose those I like the most, and I will be paying for adding extra pictures in my albums. I am trying to get everything done so I get my appointment ASAP, and then I will be waiting for the final product. I hope they let me pick up my thank you pictures sooner, though. Thanks girls for sharing.
