My DH's niece asked me to be her sponsor for her confirmation. She had a huuuge booklet to fill out that we finished up last night. There's only one part that I still have to do myself as the sponsor and I forgot what it was
I have to write a letter of promise, basically saying that I will lead her through this journey etc etc... BUT- WHO do I write this to? To my niece or to the church?
Anyone know? Thanks!

I was just my niece's sponsor last year but I didn't have to write a letter so I can't help you there. Sorry. Would think the letter would be addressed to the church?

im thinking it's a general letter, not neccessarily TO anyone... i really dont know. im going to sound like a total fooool

My guess would be the Church, maybe even Bishop Murphy himself. But I'm sure you can do it as a 'to whom it may concern...'
