If you had a Mass, did you do the Prayer of the Faithfull. Do you know if it has to be done?
Thanks!

That's funny. I loved writing it and it was one of my favorite parts. Writing it reminded me of being in Catholic School again.

Re: Catholic Brides
we chose one of the optional ones. i love writing, but i felt like one of the options that we read basically covered exactly what we would have said anyway. i thought it was beautiful though, and i loved hearing it at our mass.... does your friend Not want to do it?

Re: Catholic Brides
Well, considering the way our Priest tries to get every Mass over with very quickly, he probably will tell her she doesn't need it

We did it too, and my MIL wrote it. It was very special to us.

Re: Catholic Brides
We had it to but we didn't have a full mass. It was part of our ceremony. Not sure if it was a requirement or not.

sorry to but in but i have to do it. Questions though what can it be. Can we done the people we lost there name and then people that didn't came without the names. Cause in the Together for life book it says for that part it says personally composed or prepared by priest. what does that mean i didn't understand that again sorry i saw this and i was like this is what i wanted to find out.

I don't know if you have to, but at our wedding one of our groomsmen read it with his 7 year old son. It was lovely and I am so glad we had it.

It just means that you can write it yourself, or the Church will give you a general one.
We just said 'for those who have gone before us' but you can say their names if you want.
We also mentioned 'for those who could not be with us today due to sickness'
