This is just so sad....

ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 18) - Skeletal remains found in the woods are the Florida 3-year-old who has been missing since June, and her death is considered a homicide, a county medical examiner said Friday.

DNA tests confirm that the remains match Caylee Anthony's genetic profile, said the medical examiner, Dr. Jan Garavaglia.

A utility worker stumbled upon the remains last week, less than a half-mile from where the girl lived. Garavaglia said some of the remains discovered were as small as pebbles, and authorities weren't certain how the girl was killed.
Caylee's mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, was indicted in October on first-degree murder and other charges, even though no body was found. She has insisted that she left the girl with a baby sitter in June, but she didn't report her missing until July.

A search team said they did not check the wooded area sooner because it was submerged in water.

Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, was with her at the Orange County Jail when she found out the news, said Todd Black, a spokesman for the attorney. She was notified a short time before the news conference about the positive identification. Black said he wouldn't comment on her reaction.

Just so horrible

so so sad- there are so many people that would love to have a child- why couldnt she put her up for adoption

Now if we can only figure out what happened since she comes from a family of pathetic liars. I just dont understand who could do something like this. What brings people to this. Give your child up if you dont want it.

I watched an hour special on this last week on MSNBC. It was the day after they found the skeletal remains, its a few blocks from the mothers house.

It was crazy what i saw and she definitely did it i think. They confiscated her computer and had experts look at everything shes ever looked at and past IM's they retrieved. BEFORE her daughter even went missing she googled 'neck breaking, missing children and chlorofoam' yeah funny that they did find traces of chlorofoam in her trunk. Not only that but her IM's she talked bad about her daughter, calling her a little snothead and brat. Also before her daugher when missing she posted t his thing on myspace that said, the life thats given to you can be taken away and had a horrible picture of a little girl and then a chair next to her and a teddy bear with a rope around its neck

PLUS the biggest thing is that she NEVER reported her daugher missing. She was talking to her mom and her mom was asking where caylee was and she said she was gone. Her mom was so confused and said what are you talking about. She said her daugher had been missing for 30 days but she NEVER called the cops or anything, her mom finally called the cops to report her missing. Caylee's mom said that some bad ppl took her and she cant call the cops bc of that she said this babysitter zanidee took her. She took the cops to where she said this woman lived and it was an abandoned apartment, the owner said nobody has lived there for 6 months so its impossible and the owner didnt even know who zanidee was. But caylee's mom had been there before and saw zanidee's name on the sign in sheet in the building so i guess thats where she got the name from bc the cops found zanidee and she said she has no idea who this woman is and that she works and doesnt babysit any kids and has 6 of her own and cant even do it. She is so stupid bc she should've realized that if somebody is signing in to go into a building then they dont live there.

Oh yeah and the day after her daughter went missing they have footage of her going into a tat shop with her bf and she looked all happy and she gets 'BELLA VITA' tattooed on her. SO the day after her daughter goes missing you get beautiful life tattoo'ed on you

and theres more to the story. Her neighbors said that around the time the girl first went missing, her mom knocked on their door at night and asked for a shovel.

Theres just too many things. This woman is disgusting

she is a nutjob. They also showed her conversations in jail and her recordings of phone calls. She would call ppl to ask for favors and then flip out on them, and whenever anybody asked her any questions she would scream and hang up on them. They also said its weird how no friends are speaking out for her to talk about her character and that she would never do this, and when they were asked they didnt even want to say anything, her ex even said he has no idea what she is capable of doing. The only ppl on her side are her parents, and thats bc i think her parents just refuse to believe their daughter would do this

In the IM they were showing, she said that her daughter is driving her crazy and that spending 2 hours with the brat is worse than 12 hours of work and she would rather do that. Then when asked about zanidee and what she is talking about, she just keeps saying that these bad ppl took her daughter and zanidee is involved and she told her mom she cant tell her anymore bc she is scared if the rest of her family knows that they will be in danger too the cops have investigated this and even the woman zanidee was interviewed on this show i saw and spoke about it. The cops realized that zanidee never lived where caylee's mom said she lived. The mother said she dropped caylee off there in the morning on so and so date but its a lie considering the owner of the building said nobody has lived there for 6 months. Then doing more research they had seen that zanidee was on a sign in sheet but to visit somebody. I think it was about 6 months prior though when the last tenant lived in that apartment so she also remembered the apt number too but what an idiot.

They said the chlorfoam was bc there was an old pizza box in the back left there for months and there had been maggots and stuff, which makes no sense at all. And not like chlorofam is easy to buy. They did investigate and called up pharmacy's and saw how hard it was to buy, and not something ppl just have in their home

OMG I saw that too and was horrified...it's just disgusting really.

i also don't get the grandparents. i just feel like there's something fishy going on with them. they are the ones who reported caylee missing, and said their daughter's car smelled like death. yet in the past couple of months, they've been insisting that caylee is only missing, and that some little girl seen in a video in TN is her, and that their daughter is innocent. if you really thought that little girl was caylee, wouldn't you have been on the first flight to TN to make sure it was her??

there are just so many things wrong here. the one good thing about them finding caylee now is that the mother should definitely spend the rest of her life in jail.

i saw that video. SOmebody saw a little girl at a playground or some play place in a mall actually i think and sent them that video. You see the girl from a distance and from the side. The grandparents are saying that it seems similar to caylee but they dont know for a fact. And from the video honestly i was like im not sure if its her. Yeah the girl had similar hair and same size and stuff but thats about it. They did show the video to the cops to find out. But they have no idea who this girl is or what her name is since it was some random person who taped it when they saw this girl

it's just sooo sad...i dont understand people at alllll!!!!

i mean obv she has issues and ignoring the real logical options...why did she want her dead vs. abandoning her? she hated her that much cuz she was spoiled and bratty????? people are crazy.

and if she was iming people stuff etc...no one saw annnny signs at all?

yeah thats her excuse, she says if she couldnt handle her daughter anymore then she would've just given it to her mother. Yeah would've been the smart thing to do

well thats why they say none of her friends are defending her

this is just soo sad, I am at a loss for words, and to know what my niece would give to be able to conceive, and then horrible people like this have such beautiful children and this happens, makes my heart break.

This whole story is so sad. I make Dh watch Nancy Grace with me every night so I can follow the story.

Regarding the grandparents...when i watched the footage of their visit w/ Casey in jail, it really looked to me like they know their daughter was lying. Their daughter has been a liar who has even stolen from them. Yet, it seems like they really wantedto believe her. They still look like they don't trust her though....U could tell from their body language and the types of questions they were asking her.

I orginally thought that maybe there was an accident and Casey didn't mean to kill her, but after hearing about the texts and internet searches, it's pretty obvious that she killed her.

Casey is clearly sick and demented and I hope she never gets out of jail. It makes me sad to see all of the pictures of Caylee---she was a beautiful little girl.

Maybe the grandparents really DID want to believe casey ... and were in denial that their little baby granddaughter is dead?

I feel so bad for them IF they had nothing to do with it. I am not 100% sure that they are innocent.
