Centerpieces for bridal shower

Could you please tell me what your centerpieces were at your bridal shower? I'm throwing a shower for my best friend in July and can't think of a good centerpiece besides balloons and candles. Flowers might get expensive.

Re: Centerpieces for bridal shower

Is there a theme? I've mostly seen balloons and/or flowers. Maybe you could do a hurricane vase with a candle or a bowl with floating candles or floating flowers......

Re: Centerpieces for bridal shower

my mom made mine... she bought these big bowls on a pedestal vases, and used silk flowers in the colors of my wedding centerpieces. and filled the bowl with those glass stones. very pretty. (then we had a contest to give them away) I'm sure they didn't cost much because my mom was on a tight budget.

Re: Centerpieces for bridal shower

Mine were big white, plastic bowls with pansies in them. My cousin bought the pansies that came in the small brown bottoms and just planted 6 or 7 into each big white bowl. Then, she tied ribbon around the bowl.

Re: Centerpieces for bridal shower

I attended a garden wedding this past weekend and for the centerpieces they had a simple steel watering can or vase with 6 gerbera daisies in them. very simple, inexpensive but very beautiful for the summer :)

the bride put them together herself.

Re: Centerpieces for bridal shower

For my best friends shower we used small fish bowl type vases and put roses in them and placed candles around them. Everyone said it was so elegant! It cost about 100.00 for 12 tables!!

Re: Centerpieces for bridal shower

These were mine. They were the centerpiece and the favor. They were dishtowels sewn together with a card with a saying attached to it.

Re: Centerpieces for bridal shower

My MOH went to the flower district and bought all the roses and arranged two long stemed roses in a vase for each table.

For her shower Im trying to find a florist who will do something sort of chic within my budget or I might end up doing it myself.

This is my fall back idea if I cant find a florist:

Some other ideas;

Re: Centerpieces for bridal shower

Its on the west side around 30th Street I believe. Ive heard most of them will not sell to people off the street but if you are persistant you can find someone who will...you just have to know what you want and have cash.
