Centerpieces for Rectangular tables...

Hey girls...a friend is asking for a surprise party for her mom.

I used to have a few sites that had good examples but I trashed all that after teh wedding.

Anyone have any nice options for rectangular tables?

Re: Centerpieces for Rectangular tables...

I went to a wedding last week that had rectangular tables, and they had really pretty centerpieces. They were vegetable boxes of sorts (square, wooden) with roses planted flat...just straight across one after the other, with a few berries intertwined. The roses were peach with redish tips...I have to find a pic..they were very cute. I actually thought they were a little too casual for the wedding, but for what your friend is doing it would be beautiful.

I also like the small square or rectangular glass bowls that are planted with roses (or whatever) and lined up....love that effect!

Re: Centerpieces for Rectangular tables...

I'm picturing grass in square or rectangular planters-I don't know if thats too Feng Shui-ish, but i can't find a picture of it.

I like the look of small arrangements in a series down the length of a table.

Re: Centerpieces for Rectangular tables...

This is a picture of my centerpieces...we had long oblong tables so almost rectagular and the other is of a picture with multiple arrangements on the table. Another look I liked and almost got was three silver julip cups filled with roses all in a row...I don't have a pic of that though...
