Ceramic/Glass stove

Ceramic/Glass stove

We just purchased a new ceramic/glass stove.

I'd like to get some sort of cover for the entire top of it..perhaps something decorative?!?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I googled for a minute, and didn't really find anything other than a 'butcher block' type of thing that you can put it on top and double as a cutting board surface. I would try to look for range cover, glass top range covers or see if the manufacturer offers something to go along with it. :)

I just spoke to my DH.

He said that we'll need something that covers the top and the controls (knobs).

Looks like we'll have to have a custom heavy plastic cover made...

All because of the cats.....
