Re: DH's birthday surprise... Advice needed... can I even do it?
I don't see why that would be too much, but I have never been pregnant and I don't know how you'll feel. I think it's really up to you.
Anyway you can celebrate a little early and do it in the next few weeks, just to play it safe?

i dont see why not? you know your body better than anyone so if you feel like you can do it why not...your pregnant not sick! most people work and go about a normal life until their due date. its just the car ride you might not be comfortable for, but onece youare there its all about relaxign!

DH's best friend's wife was 8 months pregnant at our wedding and they flew up to NY for the weekend from NC and ran all around with us on that Saturday. Mary seemed fine and is genuinely smiling in all the photos. She gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby girl (Bella) one month later!
Edit: Saw your update... don't be sad! These are happy times and everything will be wonderful!!!!!

I know this isn’t supposed to be funny but for some reason this made me really laugh! I’m sorry.
Is it something you could cancel? Like if it’s two weeks before and you’re like, “This probably isn’t a good idea,” could you get your money back? Or maybe you could just do something earlier, like next month?

Re: Change of Plans
i know he just got you the Wii...are there any games he would want for it for his birthday?
Do you guys have a video camera? If not, thats something that will come in handy for you guys when the baby is here. Or even a new camera if needed?

why are boys so difficult?? Scratch offs seem like the way to go!
Dinner is fine then. Surprise him with the plans for the post baby trip & explain to him that thats what you wanted to do for his bday but couldnt. Maybe make that his belated bday present & give him a lil extra something when you are away as an anniversary present.
