Cheap Tickets vs. Flights through AMEX
I don't know if anyone can help with this but it would be greatly appreciated.....
I found tickets to London on Virgin Atlantic through Cheaptickets.com and they were about $500 cheaper each ticket than booking through AMEX to use my points. If I got one ticket free through AMEX I'd still be paying more than Cheaptickets! I wanted to know if anyone has flown booking through cheaptickets and what the catch could be! Do they seat you in the way back of the plane or something?? Why would AMEX be asking so much more for the same exact flight?!? I must be missing something!
Could anyone give me any insight? I need to book these tickets ASAP.
