chest congestion

good morning ladies!!!

i'm going on day 3 of chest congestion/minor sore throat... my question is...

what have you used that is an over the counter med for chest congestion?!

also - when do you say, enough is enough and you go to the doctor?!

This is going to sound so crazy! My aunt told me to rub vicks on my feet and put socks on, and it would stop my cough and help with my chest congestion, and it did! I don't know how it works, and yes it stinks and it feels weird but it worked for me.

I also like Tylenol cold & sore throat with cool burst. It takes nasty but it helps.

I've had this cough/chest congestion for ONE MONTH! I've been on so many meds. Mucinex and sudafed are good.

Go to your dr. to get a zpack (azythromicyn sp?). That is helping.

Luckily the chest xray was clear even though I sound horrible.

seriously, since new years it's been a downward spiral! i also take emergen-c for vitamins and drink extra juice. i think you should look into a humidifier...it really helps!

I usually drink alot of chamomile tea with honey. Try rubbing vicks on your chest at night before going to bed. In the morning after brushing squeeze a lemon and mix it with a spoon of honey and take it as a shot. Hope you feel better soon.
