Chicken left out on the counter????

I just came home from the supermarket and put 3 packs of chicken on the counter.



I forgot about it until 3 hours later.

Should I throw it out??????

What a waste though.

Personally if it smells ok I would think it should be ok. If it were out much longer I would say trash it.

I seriously would use it, those fridge cases never seem so 'cold' to me esp. if its a pkg near the top.. and its not like its the middle of the summer, your house isn't warmer then 72 or so, it should be fine

If it was only 3 hours I think it is still ok. I am sure I have left my chicken out longer than that.
I would smell it first though just to make sure it still smells ok.

put it in the fridge now and then when you are ready to use it, sniff the heck out of it to make sure it smells ok.
