Chicken Parm?

Chicken Parm?

I have a question about it:

I am cooking this probably tommorrow and just want to make sure I am doing it right:
I fry the chicken cutlets (breaded)
Put them in the oven with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.

I want to make a side of linguini with it but does anyone have the oil and garlic sauce recipe. Its crazy I can cook all the hard stuff but simple gets me confused.

TIA

yes that sounds right.... you dont fry the chicken ALL THE WAY - only fry them for about 1-2 mins on each side, then put them in the oven with the cheese and sauce!

From Food Network:

Kosher salt, to taste, plus 1 teaspoon
1 pound spaghetti
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Pinch red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
1/2 lemon, zested, optional
Freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, optional
Directions
Bring a large pot of cold water to a boil over high heat, then salt it generously. Add the pasta and cook, stirring occasionally until al dente, tender but not mushy, about 8 minutes.

While the pasta cooks, combine the garlic, olive oil, the 1 teaspoon salt, and red pepper flakes in a large skillet and warm over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the garlic softens and turns golden, about 8 minutes.

Drain the pasta in a colander set in the sink, reserving about a 1/4 cup of the cooking water. Add the pasta and the reserved water to the garlic mixture. Mix well. Add the parsley and lemon zest (if using). Adjust seasoning, to taste. Transfer to a large serving bowl or divide amongst 4 to 6 dishes. Serve topped with grated cheese, if desired.

Yup! that's right :) to make it extra good I'll also slice some garlic REALLY thin & put it under the mozz. cheese...then on top just take the 'italian seasoning' from my spice rack & sprinkle it on top...

for Garlic & Oil this is a good thing to go by....if u feel u need to add more oil go for it - but it gives u a round about idea for measurements..

1 pound pasta
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
5-6 garlic cloves, peeled & minced
1/2 cup(or less depending on preference) parsley
A little Garlic salt(to taste)
Freshly ground pepper

Heat oil in large fry pan....add garlic & let simmer over medium heat. Add parsley. Once garlic is cooked add pasta to pan & coat....add remaining ingredients(tasting for salt). Always have freshly grated parm for toppings!

I actually just bread the chicken cutlets with canola oil and then i use progresso panko bread crumbs

I then spray a pan with nonstick spray and bake it in the oven, 10 minutes on each side
so 20 minutes

Then i put sauce and cheese on top and bake another 10 minutes
