Childless People.....

don't you just HATE when you get an invitation to a child's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's? OMG I HATE going there! DH's nieces and nephews always have their bday parties there and we always have to go. Between the kids screaming, the squishing of all the guests at a teeny table, the annoying animatronic band, crap food, dirtiness...gahhhhh!!! I guess when we have kids maybe we'll enjoy it more. but for now..bleh!

Sorry, just needed to vent..I got yet another invite today....between now and last year, we have been to 4 of these parties! siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiighhhhhhhh

i hate every children's party location, to be honest ... i just don't want to be doing kids things ... luckily, DH only has 1 niece and 1 nephew ... but i totally feel your pain having to go 4 times in one year

That's why flasks were made...seriously, if I'm going to be stuck in my own idea of hell on earth, I will sneak in a little booze to ease through it.

Luckily we don't have neices or nephews b/c that sounds horrible...I've never even been to a Chuck E Cheese. Do you have to go for the entire time?

I like the salad bar at chuck e cheese...they have really good dressing. And the breadsticks are pretty good too

My mother always had a separate family party for us for this reason! No one without children wants to hang out at Chuck E Cheese.

Thanks for the support ladies..its good to know that I am not the only one. I used to not mind it so much...but over the years its just getting so tiresome. I cant wait to have kids and make them all come to my annoying parties! Yay!

Me neither. I've brought my cousins to Chuck E Cheese. They're adorable and they love it so how can I dislike it?

And for the record, I love doing kiddie things. I steal my little cousins all the time so I can do things like go to the zoo, the aquarium, the plaster painting place, see Toy Story in 3-D, etc. I think I have more fun than the kids do.

ugg...WoodKingdom, the bouncy place.. or the fun ones where you're actually in a small house with 13 screaming little girls...

I really can't stand the noise and craziness of kids parties...

But with 5 nieces and nephews under 8.... I'm stuck going.. (though I wish I'd have thought about the Flask idea...How dumb am I?!?)

see I tell my SIL she has no choice but to invite us to the kids party (and the family party)... i LOVE kids parties....
I'm weird, we all know that.
actually, to clarify.. I go to kids parties of FAMILY members, not many others. like a friend from HS invited me to her sons 2nd birthday a few years ago and we didn't go.. I talk to her online, we dont hang out anymore (busy schedules)
