Re: Chorizo recipes?
MB I have an AMAZING recipe for Chorizo. You will need chorizo cherry tomato shrimp garlic olive oil oregano and a loaf of good crusty bread
OK so you take a package of cherry tomatoes. Coat with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano and crush two cloves of garlic.
Put in an oven proof dish and put in oven @ 400 degrees. Wait till you see most the cherry tomatos burst (this will take at least 20 minutes)
Take the chorizo out of the casing
Once you see the tomatos burst, add in the chorizo and the peeled & deveined shrimp.
Cook until you see the shrimp is pink and the chorizo is cooked all the way through.
You will see there will be delicious sauce that you can sop up with the bread.
It was such hit when I made it two weeks ago.

Re: Chorizo recipes?
Mine is similar to above but i make penne with shrimp and chorizo. I had it while on our HM so i made it myself by trying to recreate without an exact recipe. But basically heat up olive oil then throw in garlic and onions. Then I throw in the chorizo, i season the shrimp with salt and pepper and throw it in the pan. I also cut up cherry tomatoes and throw it in there, then add lemon, butter, white wine, a little bit of crushed red peppers.

Re: Chorizo recipes?
Another idea is 'easy paella' Take the goya yellow rice mix, make it according to their directions. While the yellow rice is cooking, take the chorizo out of the casings, add some olive oil to a pan and cook it through.
Remove the chorizo and brown some chicken breasts (cut it up into bite size pieces)
Add some seasoned deveined shrimp, cook until pink.
Once the rice is cooked add all the ingredients together and put in a box of frozen peas and until they are cook.
Voila! Instant Paella.

No problem. I would use two packets of the yellow rice. The leftovers are great!
