So I bought all these stamps bc I was going to send out Christmas Cards and then I start getting the cute little picture cards from all our friends and now I feel cheezy sending out a regular card that now I am not and everyone can go F-Themselves..
Can we tell Aunt Flo is on her way?????

Oh....the photo cards are the easy way out...i'd much rather get a cute hand-made stamped card anyday!!! I am hand making my cards...people expect that from me...get stamping girl!!!

I agree! I'm not too much of a fan of picture cards.... I really like a pretty old-school christmas card

we are sending out non photo cards too. dh has a reason for everything, he thinks we should start the photo cards after we have kids, bc he said everyone is probably sick of seeing our picture, since the wedding

We send out store bought cards. Inside some of the cards I placed a wedding photo with a holiday border for those people who could not make the wedding but sent us a gift. It's the thought that counts in the end. Sorry Aunt flo is making you rethink and doubt yourself.

Don't feel bad Dayna. I would have done the picture thing but Blake is VERY uncoopertive .So, me and my sorry A S S wrote out cards, as if I were once again sending invitations.NEVER AGAIN.Especially since I've only got 3 cards in the mail thus far. For now on, it's like this. I will send NO cards, until I recieve one from you. Then I'll send one back Besides my hand hurts. And on top of that, Aunt Flo isn't coming and my attitude still *****

Aww I felt the same way once I got all the picture cards...but personally, I think the classic ones are better. I know how hard and how long it takes to write them out. The pics are nice, but the others take a lot of effort and personally, although I love them all, I do appreciate a personal handwritten card!

i was feeling the same way after seeing so many pic cards come in the mail but the cards i order from abta (american brain tumor assoc) have been my thing for 3 years now, since my dad passed from brain cancer, so im standing by that. buying the cards, you make a donation. im sure we'll switch to pic cards one day, prob when our fam grows and we have some lil ones around here. dont second guess your cards, i bet theyre very nice. and everyone would be glad to have them. dont ditch em!!

Dont worry, I made my cards every year for the last 7... and this year by the thime we got home form the HM i would have half of them done.. SO i cheesed out and went with a photo card with 4 little pics from the wedding. I did it more so my family that couldn't make it at least got to see a little of what it was like. I won't do them again though... cards are much nicer!!

I have to agree with most the picture cards are only cute when you have kids. But still then I don't even know if I could committ to doing christmas cards. A regular card is just fine

We wanted to do a pic card because we were newlyweds but we did caricatures instead and everyone has been calling us to tell us how much they liked them. Sometimes homemade and from the heart is best. Send out your cards and tell Aunt Flo to take a chill pill
