Christmas Card with Wedding Picture?

Christmas Card with Wedding Picture?

So I've been SUPER busy (and a little lazy) and I haven't even ordered my thank you cards yet. I plan on doing so hopefully by next week (after I'm over this sickness). So therefore my thank yours of course have not gone out yet and won't be going out until after the holidays I'm guessing.

So my question is, is it weird if I put wedding pictures on our Christmas card? I would put a fun one that is different then the one I would use as the thank you. Or should I put a honeymoon picture? I REALLY want to do a wedding one but I feel a little weird without sending the thank yous out yet.

Thoughts? TIA girls!

I haven't ordered mine yet either and I'm the week before you. I will probably do it this week. Get it around Christmas and send them in January lol

Yeah that's probably when my thank yous will go out as well. Sometime in January, so that's after the holidays. So is it weird if our holiday cards have our wedding picture on it.

this was discussed on lif. i think majority said no photo wedding xmas card if you didnt send a ty.

send joint TY and holiday cards ... two birds with one stone AND you get to use your wedding photo

We got married in November 2009 and we put a non-pro pic of us at our wedding and two from our honeymoon on our Christmas Cards.

We just sent out our TY's right before our 1 year anniversary.

DH's cousin did this for her Christmas card a few years ago. They used a wedding picture and wrote their thank you inside, but ultimately it was also a christmas card.

I also wouldn't but thats just me...I generally over think things and feel bad about stuff that I likely shouldn't.

We got married 10/30 and I am like hauling @ss through our TYs...not my style one bit to be timely like that but when it comes to TYs i'm like oddly on top of my game.

Enough about me - I wouldn't put a wedding pic on a xmas card unless you multitask and its your TY....

I was originally going to do that. However, I decided to save the wedding photo for our thank yous (which will go out right after the holidays) and do a pic of our kitten for the Christmas cards.
