A Great Idea!!! When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following:
A Recovering American soldier c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center 6900 Georgia Avenue,NW Washington,D.C. 20307-5001
If you approve of the idea, please pass it on to your e-mail list

Oh I like that idea! I will definetly save this. I'd really like to send some overseas because I remember when I had a friend out there, getting mail from em was always a highlight for him. They get really lonely, especially the ones that don't have many people rooting for them back home. Ladies, everyone should try to send at elats one, really.

The students at my school are doing this. The kids are so proud and excited about it.

Re: Christmas Cards for American Soldiers
What about doing ones from the kids I teach? I teach art for grades k-3rd. Does it just need to be CHristmas cards or for all holidays? Maybe just stick to a season's greetings cards?? Advice?

I am sure that is fine since not all soldiers celebrate Christmas!
