I just got home today and my Neighbor yells over to me to tell me that someone broke into their home and stole all of the Christmas Presents that were under their tree!!! How terrible is that?? I hope they find out who did this. There is a lead on a car that other neighbors saw parked in front of the house so lets hope they have luck and find this person!!! I feel soooo bad for them but I guess things could have been ALOT worse!!! They were at a car dealership waiting for awhile to have work done so they are wondering if someone from there knew that they would be gone and sent someone over to rob the place. I am definitely locking up tight from now on!!!!

this is where our justice system annoys me...if our penalties were greater this crap wouldn't go on as much!!! that just stinks for your neighbor...hope they still have a nice Christmas regardless!!

Now a days some people are sooooooo desperate, they go to desperate measures. It really is sad, and I feel terrible that this happened to your neighbors. On an important note, alot of times when people leave their cars with a dealer, or mechanic, they leave their house keys on their key ring, without even thinking twice,while they wait. It's an easy way for a thief to have easy access to a home, especially if they know the address. Just something to keep in mind.

This kind of thing makes me so sad. Unfortunately, it's the kind of world we live in. Guess I can't accuse DH of being too paranoid with locking the windows, etc.
