Let's share some family christmas/holiday traditions with each other. I would like to start a new tradition since this is our 1st married Christmas together.
Ever since I was a little girl when we decorate the house we play Christmas music then watch Christmas Specials. I also bake lots of cookies and goodies.
This year I am starting a cookie exchange with some of my close friends. I hope it will become an annual get together of friends sharing cookie's, punch, laughs and fun.

I was just telling DH last night that i wanted to start so many christmas traditions of our own once the children are here.. so far we have come up with the idea that we will buy a santa suit for our brother, and he will come over every christmas eve and put the gifts under the tree and eat the cookies while our child(ren) watch secretly at the door...
Christmas morning me and DH every year get up early put breakfast and coffe on the coffee table listen to christmas music while watching the yule log and open our gifts...

Hmmm...i dont know how many traditions we haev although I would like to make up some new ones.
The only one I can think of is that we give each other gifts before Christmas saving the best ones for Christmas day.

For as long as I can remember on Christmas Eve we have friends and family come over my parents house. We serve only appetizers and start eating around 4:30 or 5:00. We get to open one gift each. And after we are all stuffed we drive around and look at Christmas decorations.
