Do you and DH take your coffee the same way... well, I mean, like do you like it the same strength?
I've been making our coffee since August and only this morning DH decides to tell me it's way too strong for him. He made it once, and it tasted like water to me! I'm not sure how we can work around this? What do you girls do?

Yeah thats what we've been doing, also. This is the first I am hearing that he thinks I make it too strong. I am a believer that you CANT mess with someone's morning coffee, so of course I feel bad that he's not been able to have it the way HE likes it. I am not sure if we should get one of those Kuerig machines or what

Re: Coffee question
DH is like that tea (he doesnt drink coffee). When he makes it looks like milk water . He doesnt leave the bag in long enough.
I make it stronger and he likes it.

Re: Coffee question
I don't love my coffee strong and my cousins make very strong coffee so i just use half and half and more sugar and then it's yummy.
Dh and I, same pot - same coffee...and we take it the same way too.

Re: Coffee question
DH doesn't really drink coffee. Only once in awhile. He will have espresso after dinner when we go out with his parents. I have a tassimo machine so I dont have to make full pots cus i only drink one cup. DH has used it all of 2 times I think.

Re: Coffee question
When we make coffee at home DH and I will both use flavored International Delights or Coffeemate, my cup usually is a bit stronger than his.

same here and the keurig is the way to go. i make it just for me but DH will sometimes make hot chocolate for himself. But with the keurig you can pick the type of coffee and whether you want strong or not. i looove it. It's great for one or two people. I would waste coffee if i made a whole pot.

Oh you CAN choose whether you want it strong or not with the Keurig? That is sort of the way I was thinking to do, but I didnt think it let you adjust the strength of the coffee. Thats good to know! Thank you!

they have a few different models. the one my sister and parents have let's you adjust the strength (i.e., more or less water). You can also choose strength based on the coffee - extra bold, mild, etc. - you pick. It's awesome. and no clean up except your mug, and no grinds.

we got the keurig too but havent used it - we are waiting until we move into a house...
we occasionally drink coffee after dinner and occasionally ill make a pot of tea...so that is why we wanted to keurig - i am so excited to use it....i have one at work and love it!
i figure if we are entertaining than we'll just use an urn (if there are a lot of ppl)
