Complaint about snowy days

Why is it that people in my office do not come in when it snows. We all commute via train or bus...and yes trains and buses are running so WHY ARENT THEY HERE! Its not even that bad out! I dont get it! And alot of people use the excuse they have kids...well arent schools open?

Its really not fair to us who all made it in AND those of us who dont have kids OR some who have a short commute. This happens alot and it is annoying! Last year this happened once and there were like 8 of 30 people here. I begged to let us go early because it just wasnt fair! Anyway, I guess alot of them can technically work from home but what about the rest of us! ARGH...ok vent over!

ugh this annoys me so much! We have 1 guy in our dept who commutes via bus and train, everyone else drives in.. Why is it that he is the ONLY one who didn't come in today! I work in Port Washington, one guy lives in mt.sinai for shyt sake!
this annoys the CRAP outta me!!!

2 of us are mothers
Schools are closed today (i'm in RI)
4 people stayed home today. NONE OF THEM HAVE KIDS.

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUCK. If I came to work with a baby who has no day care today, and my boss who has 2 kids with NO school today, why the helll aren't YOU here? Please explain????

It took me 3 hours to get to work today. So glad I went and drove because I had to run to a school that had a power outage today.
