Complaint about Uggs..........but with a good outcome

Hey I just thought I'd share this story real quick...

I have had a pair of Uggs for 2 years and the lamb wool wore away at the heel area. It is pretty much all worn away and now I cant wear them because the hard canvas hurts. I wrote a quick email to Ugg asking if I can get them repaired anywhere. They said they would take them back if they were still waranteed. Well, they arent waranteed but the lady said to send them in anyway and if it is a manufacturer defect, they will send me a new pair!

I got a letter today saying I have a $150 store credit to get a brand new pair of Uggs! YAY for me! It pays to write letters and complain (I have done this often and yes have gotten some free stuff, free airline miles, etc.) But Ugg didnt even put up a fight! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Wow, I'm surprised...good for you! I would think that would be considered normal wear and tear. They sell the replacement insoles too.

Good, alot of designer do this. I just wrote this to you in the other thread hahaha. I was saying with some designers if something goes wrong you get a new one for free. They do this with bags and i know manolo blahnik has this policy. If they get ruined you get a new free pair
