it's so funny that they happened to get into first place because when kenneth first got into his situation i would tell him, to lift his spirits, that they were winning lol even if they didn't. so, if it was 10-2 and the mets lost i would just lie and say 'they won 10-2!!' haha! then, i thought 'uh oh - when he gets better he is going to expect them to be in first place'... now that they are - yay!!

You tell Kenneth that the Mets are on a winning streak they have not been on since 1990... This is a comeback... and october is NOT so far away (for us)

omg i would just die if they won b/c the last time they won, 1986, i have a picture of my brother as an 8 year old in his mets t-shirt SO happy that they won!! lol he always said he never forgot that game, that season, etc.

wow - how fitting if they won this year.

my sister, a DIE HARD fan, would need CPR lol.

get this... I have a ticket stub from game 7 of the 86 world series right...

and in 2006 I had playoff tickets so we went early to watch gary & ron's SNY live broadcast... I GOT ron darling to sign the back of my ticket stub!! (He started game 7...)

I wonder how much it would be worth...

That will make DH happy!!!
